Obviously, BodyTech Hydrotherm is a diuretic. This product has natural diuretic ingredients, the name is “hydrotherm”, what more evidence do you need? We could think like this, and we are sure this would be a very short and easy review. However, there are other ways to think about things. Even ingredients that seem to be obviously one sided may surprise you. We aren’t saying that the BodyTech Hydrotherm formula is this way or that. We are just giving you another point of view.

BodyTech Hydrotherm and Cleansing

While unconventional, more dieters should know more about cleansing. Detoxes use many of the same ingredients that you might find in a diuretic, and a cleanse can promote longer lasting weight loss. A detox flushes these so called “toxins” out of your body, which obviously removes pounds of waste on its own. The most important thing to most dieters though is the fact that this process actually speeds up your metabolism, fights cravings, and promotes weight loss in a number of other ways.

As we mentioned before, BodyTech Hydrotherm has quite a few ingredients that are clinically proven to flush out water weight, and the same ingredients can also flush out toxins. Ingredients like dandelion root and buchu have been used again and again, quite effectively we might add. Add in cranberry, which has been used to fight UTI’s and flush out water weight, and you have a formula that looks like a cleanser.

The Difference Between a Cleanser & a Diuretic

If you assume that diuretics and cleansers have the same ingredients and BodyTech Hydrotherm has those ingredients, what’s the difference? Why can’t you take a diuretic and assume you will lose weight and keep it off? The difference is the amounts.

Diuretics use small amounts of ingredients like dandelion root and uva ursi, which is fine. Cleanses on the other hand use considerably larger amounts of each of these ingredients. In fact, some cleanses take things to the next level and use fibers, superfruits, and other healthy foods to improve the effects.

Is BodyTech Hydrotherm a Cleanser or a Diuretic?

BodyTech Hydrotherm does not have the extra ingredients we mentioned. This product does not use fiber supplements or superfruits. BodyTech Hydrotherm does have green tea, which can provide healthy antioxidants to fight off harmful free radicals, but that’s nothing new. The good news is that BodyTech Hydrotherm does use higher doses of ingredients like dandelion root. The bad news is that there are still some scientists who have legitimate doubts about the legitimacy of cleansing/detoxing in the first place.

If cleanses are legitimate, obviously BodyTech Hydrotherm has a basic formula that meets the basic requirements. However, again, assuming that detoxes are legitimate, BodyTech Hydrotherm is very basic. This product does not have any of the added ingredients that seem to make cleansing a more pleasant or powerful experience. In short, you could get a more complete and diverse approach if you really wanted to.
