Every year for as long as I can remember, I have always had the exact same New Year’s Resolution: Lose weight. This always happens because of the large amounts of sugary treats that find themselves in my home around the holidays. If the beginning of your year finds you in the same situation as me, Glucosulin might be a product that is worth looking into.

What is it?
Glucosulin is a diet pill that claims to be the solution to weight loss that the world has long been searching for. Hold the ‘Hallelujahs!’ for a few more moments, though, because looking at how Glucosulin works is a search that is worthy of your time.

First of all, Glucosulin promises to alter your body’s relationship with food through a proprietary blend. Unlike diets that require you to abandon every comfort food that you know and love, however, you don’t need to change any of your eating habits at all.

Ingredients
Glucosulin’s proprietary blend is made of ingredients that have been effective in weight loss, such as glucomannon, gymnema slyvestre, and chromium picolinate. Each of these ingredients serve different functions. Glucomannon is a powerful thickening agent that, when consumed with water, expands and makes you feel full without the calories.

Gymnema slyvestre decreases the body’s ability to absorb sugar, which means that it causes the body to not take in the calories from sugary foods. Chromium picolinate aids in the weight loss process by keeping blood sugar levels normal. This means that since the body is not consuming as many calories as before, the chromium picolinate does not allow the body to be aware of this.

Any Drawbacks?
While Glucosulin might look like the answer to our dieting prayers, there are definitely a few things to be aware of.

First of all, two of the ingredients in its proprietary blend are laxatives. This means that rather than losing weight from fat, the body loses weight from water, leaving the risk of dehydration and even the threat of gaining all of the weight back after taking a long drink of water. So while you may see a difference on the scale, it is not an accurate representation of your weight loss.

Second, Glucosulin’s proprietary blend of ingredients does not include the amounts that are contained in each capsule. Because of this, it is unclear exactly how much of each ingredient you are consuming. Oftentimes, this is a way that dieting companies hide the fact that their product does not meet the required amounts necessary to produce weight loss. This is something to be aware of when searching for any diet pill.

Finally, Glucosulin is offered for a “free” 30-day trial. However, if you do not cancel after 30 days, you will be billed $49.98 for an additional month’s supply. After 60 days, you will be billed $39.98 per bottle. I think that selling tactics like this are often difficult to cancel and (if you are prone to procrastination) expensive over the long-term.
Is it Worth It?
Maybe. If the ingredients all work the way that the company claims they do, it will work. That might be too big of an ‘if’ for me to buy, though.
