On paper, it looks like a no-brainer. You simply replace all of your normal food with meal replacements. They offer soups, oatmeal, pudding, shakes, and protein bars. The hard part would be not eating any real food – indefinitely (well ,as long as you still wanted to lose weight). They do offer the 5 in 1 Plan, which means that you eat one real meal, and five other meal replacements. That doesn’t exactly instill any more confidence.

Is Rapid Weight Loss a Good Value?

The pricing is a bit on the steep side; it looks like a one-month supply ranges from $250 to $300 per person. If you choose to use their auto-ship program, you’re entitled to a 5% discount for months 1-3, an 8% discount for months 4-6, and a 12% discount for months 7 and on. These discounts seem pretty paltry considering what an autoship program sometimes entails: paperwork, being locked into the program, and having a hard time getting out.

Rapid Weight Loss Overall Conclusion

Eating at a caloric deficit is a sure-fire way to lose weight. You can create the deficit by eating less (by either self-discipline or appetite suppression) or burning more (through physical activity or metabolic enhancers). While the idea of meal replacements sounds good, giving you an easier time with self-discipline, the likelihood of the food being bearable for a prolonged period of time, coupled with the added expense, makes Rapid Weight Loss a mediocre weight loss option at best.
